Blog Archives

To the apron winners, they are on the way!

Terri & Gayle, your aprons are on the way! Can you please let me know that they have arrived, and if possible, a little photo or two would be great! i would like to post something on the blog of them being at your pace, or a photo of you wearing them would be wonderful, but not necessary!

‘right ! I was FINALLY able to get to the post office, bright & early  Wednesday  morning, and both aprons went along with me! Gosh i have to say i really love the new mailers that’s the post office has the ones that are a set shipping price as long as the item is small enough to fit in the box and is under 60lbs.! Yes you do probably end up paying more than if you would weigh the package but its just so much easier to go in and say give me five of the little one and two of the extra large ones, take them home, stuff them full, then send them on the way with there correct amount of postage. Saves me time going in to the post off, that is if i remember to leave a note for the mailman saying i have a package that doesn’t fit in the box so please come to the door. Yap, i have done it a time or two!

Here is a photo of them ready to go into the Post Office!08-12-09_1118

OK, now i really need to go get some quilting done! Talk to you all again soon!

Free Apron Givaway!

Hello all! Stop by to see about my free Blog Giveaway? Great!

Fist a little back story! My friends, family, and customers are always telling me they come and visit my blog, but they never seem to leave any comments, so this is my way of trying to get them to leave a little something! Well, that and apparently my family thinks i have to many aprons. Seriously is 19 aprons to many? Is this really bordering on obsessive? Is it wrong to already have another 7 aprons cut out and ready to sew together in case of emergency?!

Well i don’t think so!

Anyone and Everyone can enter, as a matter of fact there are two different ways to enter and two different Aprons to give away! The first way to enter is to leave a simple comment to this post, entering this way will give you a chance to win this, reversible, quilting themed apron…

front back

It might be hard to see in the photos but this is a cute quilting themed fabric that i picked up at the LQS a few years ago!

The second way to enter is to is to add a link to my blog on your blog! This way of entering will win you this apron…

Where is the photo you ask? There isn’t one! If you post a link to my blog on your blog, in your blogroll or just in a post, you will be entered to win a reversible apron, made just for you, in the colors of your choice! Now i can guarantee a specific print but i am sure i can find fabric in your favorite color or theme!

The drawling will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 9:00pm central time, via a random drawing. Please remember to leave me a way to get in touch with you, email would be great! If you don not leave a way to get in touch, i will post a message here with the name of the winner(s) and for you to contact me. You will have 24 hours to do so, after this i will pick another winner!
