Quilts from November

Sorry about the lack or Machine quilting photos & updates lately, I’ve been in a bit of a funk and just have been having to force myself get work done. So i thought i would post a few favorites from November…

First a couple of quilts made by Pat H.

I loved her Dresden plate (a fave pattern of mine!) The back or of the quilt turned out looking great to!
Santa, made by Pat H. 1 Santa, made by Pat H. 2
The Santa quilt was made using pre-printed panels, the quilting was pretty simple, but added that final Christmas touch with the Holly leaves in the border.

Another Dresden plate, this time made by Shirley A.

This last one I’m going to share for now, Is from Leta W. I’m not sure of the name but i wanted to share it anyway. This was one the the quilting designs just jumped into my head the minute i saw the quilt, it doesn’t happen ofter but this quilt really talked to me. The quilt top itself was started by a family member, then was finished by Leta’s Husband. I think he did a amazing job at finishing it up, great points, and a perfectly straight border defiantly speaks of his piecing and cutting skills!

Well that’s all for now, check back soon for a few quilts from last week!

Last weeks quilts… finaly!

Sorry it has taken so long to get photos posted from last weeks customer quilts, lets just say i will be so glade when September is over!

ok here we go, first up are two quilts made by Diane D. A Dresden Plate and a Flower Garden Block. Now if i remember correctly Diane purchased the Dresden Pates and the flower garden blocks at a sale and then appliqued them into place to make these quilts, what a great find! Both have puffy polyester batting and were quilted with white thread.

And here is a Bow Tie quilt made by Sue G. The Bow Ties have a three denominational center so i did not quilt in that area so they could still stand out. Puffy polyester batting and white thread was used. Lots of feathers, and CC quilting to hold everything together.
