Hot off the camera… this weeks quilting!

OK, last week was a great quilting week for me. i feel like i got a lot done! remember if you want to see a better larger view just click on the photo to go to my WebShots album were the photo is stored. From there you can view the photo full size! Now time to share

First are two quilts made by Lynda W. The first is a Rail Fence pattern and was quilted with Orange thread, a flame border and a large stipple on the main body or the quilt. The second, a cute Horse quilt was quilted with Blue thread, and some waves on the borders. The quilting one each is pretty simple, it didn’t take long to complete the two of them.

Here are two quilts made by Theresa, one a Carpenters wheel the other a Deer embroidery quilt The Carpenter’s Wheel is quilted with white thread, lots of stipple and some C.C. one the Deer quilt i use a brown thread on the borders and sashing to quilt double waves and leaves. Then switched to So Fine white thread to outline the embroidery and Stitch In the Ditch around the blocks.

This quilt called Totally Parquet was made by P.J. C. I used Mother Goose colored thread to quilt a swirl border, and Feather meandering in the main body. The extra puffy batting caused a issue or two but in the end I really like how this one came out!I added a photo of the back of the quilt so you can see the feathers better.

The last quilt i quilted for the week was made by Billie T. and is a two color  Maple leaf pattern. The quilting on this one took a bit longer than i first thought it would but it turned out great when it was finished! I used a gold thread to match the background fabric but it also ended up blending in to the darker fabric so the quilting hardly shows. i suggest you click on the close up photo to go to my WebShots album and the click on the photo there to bring up the option to view the photo in full size. I quilted some C.C. in the light triangle on the outer border, treating the two small light and dark borders as one i quilted a Fern Feather to fill up the space. On the main body i quilted what my customers like to call Zebra quilting, S.I.D. around the maple leaves and added some veins finishing up with more C.C. in the squares. Billie picked up her quilt today and really loved the way it was quilted! If your reading this Billie Thanks so much! I’ll be thinking of you we we are in Paducah this week!
